Visiting Hours for Southeast Hospital
Regular Visiting Hours
11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
We recommend that all visitors should be at least 14 years of age, especially in critical care areas. People who are ill should not visit patients.
In keeping with Patient Confidentiality and Privacy Practices, we do not overhead page family members of patients when they are needed, so families should keep Hospital staff and waiting room volunteers informed of their whereabouts at all times.
Southeast Hospital allows a support person to be present with the patient for emotional support during the course of the hospital stay, unless the visit infringes on other’s rights, safety, or is medically therapeutically contraindicated.
As a patient, you have the right to deny or withdraw, consent to visitation privileges at anytime during your hospitalization.
Visiting guidelines for specific patient care areas are as follows:
Intensive, Coronary Care, and Cardiothoracic Units
We recommend that no more than two persons visit at a time.
Due to the nature of the critical care units and the condition of patients, the units may need to adjust the number of visitors and/or visit times.
Special visiting hours for family members; check at the Lobby Desk or with OB nurses for specific times.
Unlimited visiting for parents or the patient’s responsible party.
After Hours Visitors
Visitor identification is required for visitors who have permission to remain on the floor after regular visiting hours end. A visitor pass should be obtained at the Lobby Information Desk from the security officer.
